UFOs and the People One has to wonder with so many UFO sightings, how many witnesses never report seeing one even when they do? I am sorry to admit it, but I am one of those people. I was riding in my car on a public street in the daytime when a flash of bright light hit my eye. I looked up and in the distance was a light so bright it was hard to look at. I was very surprised at that because the light was so far away. I couldn’t make out the shape of the object the light was coming from because the light concealed the shape. If I would have been able to see the shape and it was a UFO, I would have reported it, but I felt stupid at the time reporting just an extremely bright light. I have thought about this from time to time and the more I thought about it the more I realized there was no aircraft on earth that could have had such a bright light and maybe I should have reported it. This has made me wonder how many others had similar sightings or even much better ones but felt foolish? There are all sorts of estimates on how many people see UFOs versus how many report the sightings. One of the most common estimates is one person in ten that has a UFO sighting reports it. As I said this is an estimate, because there is no way to actually count this. Can you imagine how many witnesses there have been to UFO sightings? You can’t tell by even the number of reports because while a report might be filed on a sighting it could have many other witnesses. Take the Phenix Lights case for example. There were thousands of witnesses to the UFO event. In these types of cases many of the witnesses think they won’t file a report because so many people saw it someone else is sure to file. Some of the sightings have just been getting stranger over the years. At first it was circular discs traveling at incredible speeds, but then sightings got weird. Some people began to see humanoid shapes streaking through the sky. Not in the stance of a person in the prone shape traveling with a glide suit, but in an upright position. Now we seem to have that ability with some of the newer rocket packs, but that is not what people are seeing. How do I know this? It is simple, some of the sightings last too long and a person with a rocket pack would run out of fuel and fall from the sky. These humanoids are even a bigger mystery than the alien spacecraft. Perhaps they are crew members from UFOs who want to get a better look at earth, or maybe they advanced so much a spacecraft is no longer needed to travel between planets. I saw something the other day that Arthur C. Clark the famous science fiction writer had said. It was something to the effect it would be scary to be the only intelligent beings in the universe, but also scary not to be. That is so true. If the universe turns out to be teaming with life, we are definitely going to meet intelligent life we don’t get along with. The proof is we can’t even get along with some of the other human life on this planet. Perhaps that is one of the reasons we have become so interesting to aliens. Maybe alien life of the same species doesn’t have this problem, and we are unique in this. This would not be something to be proud of. On the other hand aliens could have had this problem and figured out a way to rectify it, or maybe not. Maybe they had a vicious war and the survivors vowed never to let this happen again and they all get along because of this, or maybe not. Maybe they separated on to different worlds and if they solved this problem that is how they did it. Then there is the advanced technology. Could advanced technology have been used to make each member of their society more loving of their neighbors? If this was the case, we could certainly use a shot of that drug or blast from that machine. Why are we seeing so many different shapes of spacecraft flying through our atmosphere? In the first days of modern UFO spotting, the UFOs were mostly oval shape. When Kenneth Arnold made what was considered the first modern UFO sighting in the United States, it really wasn’t, the shape of the ships he saw was more like a sort of arc. I don’t know how else to describe them. They were not the traditional round saucers. There were not many reports after that of this type of ship. For years the round ones were being reported, then that changed. We started getting Pyramid shapes, black triangles and boomerang shapes. Were all of these things actually alien? You have to wonder if some of these craft could be secret craft we developed. Two of the ones I know about are good candidates for this. First the pyramid shaped ones. It seems they are nuclear powered and leak radiation. Would an advance race build something like that? I don’t think so. The second reason is they seem to have problems and a couple of have seen being escorted by military helicopters. These were so radioactive, the radiation hurt people on the ground. The second one is a little more problematic. It is the black triangle craft which seems to float over the country side, but is also capable of very fast speed. There has been a lot of controversy about them and where they come from. Some believe they were developed as part of the defense of the earth. I hope this is true, but there is no proof of this just speculation. In conjunction with this, there are statements from a former Lockheed Skunk Works manager who on his deathbed said we have very advanced spacecraft and can go anywhere we want with them. Ben Rich was that person, a highly respected engineer of secret aircraft. The problem as I see it is, we have kept too many secrets and none of us knows exactly what is going on with the UFO problem or what they want. I think we deserve to know, even if that knowledge is unpleasant. I know for a fact I am not the only one who feels this way, but I also believe the knowledge will be unpleasant in at least some ways.
