If you are like most of us there is a lot in science you probably don’t understand and it seems  science is getting weirder every day. One of the things which is very confusing is quantum computing. You have to wonder why a person watching an experiment in quantum computing can change the outcome just because he’s looking at what is happening. I don’t want to talk about this too much since I have mentioned this many times, but it has been shown when a photon which is a particle of light will go through one of two holes if it isn’t watched and go through both holes at the same time if it is. One wouldn’t think the act of watching something could change the result, but it does in this experiment which has been repeated many times. This experiment almost sounds like witchcraft. It seems to indicate we may have powers we don’t know exist.

Another weird thing is called entanglement. This happens when one particle is entangled with another no matter how far away it is. If we do something to the first particle, it is instantly reflected with the second particle. Since distance doesn’t seem to have anything to do with this, how can a particle millions of light years away from its brother or sister entangled particle change instantly? Ever since I found out about this I couldn’t help but think there might be some way to use this phenomena for communications. If we could use it that way it would certainly make up for the fact our communications today would be almost useless as we reach the end of our solar system, not to mention going into other solar systems.

I have to add something else which scientists just found out and it may be the weirdest thing of all. Some scientists decided they would take some DNA from a subject, put it in a sealed jar and then put it in a different room from where the person who was the object of the experiment was staying. The next thing they did was submit this person to videos which would make him experience different emotions. So far there is nothing new here is there, but wait? Then they went into the room and examined the DNA which was in the jar and noticed it changed. Certain emotions would make it tighten up and others make it relax. Remember there was no physical connection with the person whose DNA had been put in the jar. The scientists were not sure exactly what this implied, but it was obvious something was going on here. One of the problems was the results of the experiments seem to defy the laws of physics.

A second experiment was conducted and the results were exactly the same and the scientists realized we can communicate with our DNA even if it isn’t in our body and the result of the first experiment was not a fluke. The scientists wanted to take this a step further and in the third experiment they found out something which might change the way we think of the entire world we are in. Light travels in something called a photon. When these photons were observed in a vacuum their locations were completely random. The scientists then inserted the human DNA into this vacuum. Incredibly the photons conformed with the positions the DNA changed into. This proved the human being had an effect on his surroundings. Scientists came out and said we are now forced to accept the possibility of a new field of energy. What are they really saying? I think they are saying we are the source of the energy and we have the power to shape things around us. Is there more to this? Once we realize this power will it turn out it is only the tip of the iceberg?

Could it be those scientists who have been stating the theory which says nothing around us is real we just think it is because we created it, are correct? These scientists were only dealing with emotions which were the engines of change in this case. If we could harness these emotions and maybe even increase a particular feeling we have, would it give us even more power over what is around us? It turns out there are quite a few things science is finding out which don’t seem to make sense. One of which we have known about for a very long time. I am talking about the placebo effect. This takes place when scientific trials are being run and some people are getting a drug for their illness while others are getting a completely inert pill. It turns out there is a large percentage of people who either get cured or feel much better who aren’t getting the pill with the medicine and it. Drug companies have known about this for decades but it isn’t in their best interest to explore the reasons, because they don’t want to put themselves out of business.

When one fires a rocket into space and that rocket shuts off and the missile is aimed at deep space not near enough to any body to be affected by its gravity, that missile should never speed up. Somebody should have told the people that launched Pioneer 10 and Pioneer 11 in 1972 and 1973 respectively. I say this, because both craft are leaving our solar system and normally they would not be the subject of scientific inquiry anymore, but they are. The reason for this is they are speeding up and scientists believe some unknown force is either pushing against them or pulling them. Both craft are experiencing the same thing. One scientist said all we have is proposals and none of them have been demonstrated.

We are discovering a lot of things in science which are mysterious and the more mysterious things we find lead us to believe our lives which we know are far from biologically simple, seem to be far more fantastic than we ever believed. I don’t know how long it will take, but given enough time scientists might find out we have been completely wrong about everything we believed. Perhaps one hand clapping does make a sound.
