The Technological Revolution

We keep hearing anti-gravity technology works and we have it, but it is tied up in what is known as a black project. A black project is a super-secret project which is compartmentalized and only a very few know what is going on. If this is true we already have the technology for at least some type of fast space travel. I don’t know how effective it is the further away you are from a planetary body. I have discussed the different type of power available for space travel and we still seem to be working on several different types. There is also the fact we can now travel in the earth’s atmosphere at incredible speeds using a ramjet engine. New vehicles which can travel between 6 and 8 times the speed of sound are being developed by China, Russia and the United States. Unfortunately they are being developed to deliver nuclear weapons on each other. This means we are increasing our speed potential on two fronts, outer space and inner-atmospheric flight.

One thing the human race is good at is studying animals and selecting their best abilities and improving on them with technology. We have taken the eyesight of an eagle and created cameras which outperform it many times. One has only to look at satellite photos to see what I am talking about. When a license plate number can be read from a hundred miles up in space, that is a powerful lens and camera. In almost every endeavor we are attempting to improve what nature has given us. Take the strength of the average person and their stamina for example. We have designed robotic skeletons which a human can fit into which will allow a person to lift hundreds of pounds a minute and keep it up for hours and also allow that person to run move faster than normal. While this seems incredible I am willing to bet this robotic skeleton is only a stop-gap measure. We will be able to genetically the human body soon and give it extra strength and stamina with using such a device.

One thing about us, we are very curious about things and this fuels our desire to improve things when we learn what nature has accomplished, after all finding out something in nature which is awesome shows that such a thing can be done and if it can be done, it can probably be improved upon. We are just great at improving upon things. I have said to others maybe if we are being watched by aliens it is because of this ability. Could it be they realize we are rapidly improving things and know we will pass their technology in a few centuries? Do we have something they don’t and they are trying to find out exactly what it is and why we have it?

We have a problem now which we may be able to solve in the next 20-50 years. The problem is we age and die too fast. I am looking at this from a scientific standpoint not a personal one. What I mean is some of the experiments scientists are doing take a lot of time and people age and die before they are finished. Let me give you an example. Space launches to other solar systems. At the speed our space vehicles go now, if we launched a space vehicle to the next nearest galaxy it would take 165,000 years for one of our space shuttles to reach it. Voyager 1 will have taken 40,000 years to go 1.6 light years. These are impossible times right now for any experiment concerning getting there. We also have a problem just in our own solar system. When space vehicles are launched to the outer planets, depending where a scientist is in his or her career, they may not be around for the results of that experiment. It took the space probe, New Horizons 9 years to reach Pluto. A very long time for any project. We have to do better with our speed, a lot better. Someday Voyager will be passed by a sleek faster than light spaceship and picked up and put in a museum before it ever reaches Alpha Centauri. This is assuming the human race still exists.

There is an area where it seems that it will be ultimately responsible for incredible new inventions and it is computers. As we improve computers and create more complicated modeling, we will probably break a technology barrier and all sorts of answers to many of our problems will come spewing out. When machines like computers get “smart enough”, they will begin to tackle many things we are not able to solve. Perhaps they will figure out how to travel faster than light or some way around the limitations of light speed. Diseases will fall by the wayside. We have already began to do things with genes we could never have imagined a few years ago. The key to many of these answers may already be inside our own bodies in the form of stem cells.

One of the biggest problems we have is how to avoid any more wars. War has to be taken out of policy making. When one looks at the root causes of a particular war it is usually not what it seems. History is based on many lies and one of the best things which could happen in the future is somehow getting to the truth and forming better relations with the countries of this world. Perhaps technology will play some role in this venture. We can already see the changes coming in society. Unfortunately many of those changes are not very good, such as loss of jobs, lack of health insurance or price of medicine. We are facing a plague in this country and in a lot of other countries around the world. I am not referring to a disease, but an upheaval in society and the way we were used to living. Future generations may look on the old ways with envy or laugh at how we lived, it all depends on how well they are doing.

Something big is going to happen and I have a feeling if we can survive the next 50 years or so people from today won’t recognize that future. When society changes due to technology it is not always for the best, but in our case we already know what is bad for us and what is good. This is already a big step. When the industrial revolution took place no one knew dumping soot and smoke into the atmosphere was bad and they had no idea the oceans could become polluted. We already know a lot, now all we have to do is survive.
