Evolutionary Theory is Flawed
When we talk about evolution, it is treated as some sacred subject which could never be wrong. It is as if God came down and gave us the theory of evolution. The problem is there are some scientists and others who believe it could be partially or entirely wrong. The theory states life forms adapt and changes are made to make thing usually better. There are a few different dictionary definitions for evolution but they more or less have the same meaning. One dictionary definition is the process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the earth. Another is the gradual development of something, especially from a simple to a more complex form.
The idea of evolution came from piecing bones together to show how things had changed by starting with the oldest bones for a species and working your way up to the newest. The problem is this truly is not an exact science. I have mentioned this before but the Museum of Natural History in New York had the wrong heads on some dinosaurs for years.
There are animals which have not changed in millions of years or barely changed. One is the Goblin Shark. It is a weird looking creature and no one is sure if it has changed at all in 125 million years and if it did it would be hardly noticeable. Why would this creature be exempt from evolution if everything evolves?
Another even more ancient creature is the Horseshoe Crab. They are not really crabs but incredible old creatures which have not evolved since the time of the dinosaurs. They are estimated to be about 450 million years old. Can you imagine a creature who has gone unchanged for that long? If they are not crabs what are they? They are some of the largest arthropods to have ever existed. When I was a kid and used to go down to the beach a lot, I would see Horseshoe crabs everywhere. They are not dangerous and can be picked up. Why did nature get satisfied with their form so long ago?
When Darwin saw some ancient animals, he called them living fossils. As a matter of fact, he gave this name to the Duck-billed platypus and lung fish. He knew evolution was not working in these animals so he came up with an excuse. He said there was less competition because they lived in a confined space. What about all the other animals who also live in confined spaces and yet changed over time as he claimed? Sometimes when DNA is examined from a fossilized animal against the DNA of a living one of the same animal, even though they both look the same the DNA is different. Why is this and if so, why do the fossil animal and the current animal look exactly the same? There are just so many unanswered questions.
Crocodiles look very much the way they did 200 million years ago. Some say they are the least changed. Some experts say they were evolving but somehow slowed down and almost stopped evolving about 65 million years ago. Why would evolution stop? This goes against the prior theory stated that you need less competition and confined space for this to happen, yet crocks had plenty of competition and certainly didn’t live in a confined space.
Sometimes animals and fish are declared extinct and this can be thought of as being for millions of years and then one is found. One such fish is the Coelacanth. It is a fish which is said to have been almost unchanged for 390 million years. I say almost because there were a few tiny differences. Why didn’t this fish evolve as some fish of that time became animals according to the theory of evolution? Is the theory correct, did fish become animals by walking out of the oceans on their fins and developing into the menagerie of animals we have today and are we all descendants of fish? I am sorry but I just can’t buy that theory.
One animal which the evolution theory says improved over many millions of years was the Tadpole shrimp. The people credit the theory which says the improvement was due to the fact these animals can reproduce by themselves, since it is both male and female. It this is such a great thing why didn’t all animals and fish gain this ability? What was so special about the Tadpole shrimp?
It is said the Sandhill Crane can be traced back about 10 million years. I think they have lasted so long because they eat a diverse diet. They will eat all sorts of plants, they like grains, and are not averse to eating mice, worms, snakes or insects. They are pretty much the same as they were back In the past.
I guess you know by now I am not a big fan of evolution. I don’t believe it is the holy grail for everything which is alive on the earth. Over the years, there has been much unexplained evidence found to indicate the idea we came from apes which eventually came from fish is entirely wrong. I ask you this why is there not more advanced apes that just haven’t reached the human stage yet if the theory of evolution is correct. Shouldn’t we be seeing animals advancing to further stages of existence? Why is there not some apes which look a little more human?
We keep finding human artifacts we can’t explain. Some are found in rocks and lumps of coal millions of years old. What do scientists say about this kind of thing? Usually, they say nothing because it doesn’t fit the evolutionary theory. The same is true for ancient objects found deep in the earth. A farmer was drilling down on his property to find water when he came up with a doll which was buried some 165 feet deep. It was the perfect representation of a human.
Human foot prints have been found on trails right next to dinosaur ones. The humans were wearing moccasin footwear. Some of the footprints were found in Texas, but scientists jumped on this right away and said this is not true. They say this but offer no explanation for the footprints. The area where the footprints are is known as the Paluxy River tracks and have been causing scientists problems for years as they try and explain them.
Human and dinosaur tracks have been found on the Taylor Trail. The trail was under the water, but a drought exposed it. The track would have to have been made at the same time because if they didn’t harden, they would have disappeared.
No, I am not a big fan of the evolutionary theory.
