Time Traveling Humans
Recently, a scientist has come forward stating he knows who are piloting UFOs. He stated it is us. He wasn’t talking about the current us, he was talking about the future of us. I’ve heard this theory before and there is some evidence which could be used to support this idea. When a UFO landed in Rendlesham forest in England near a British base which was loaned to the United States, the deputy commander of that base when out with men to investigate a UFO report of a mysterious object in the woods. As most people interested in UFOs know by now, one of the people with the commander actually touched a small UFO which landed in their midst. He went to a doctor, was hypnotized and immediately began to write pages full of zeros and ones with which when interpreted had a message that the probe was from thousands of years in our future.
What bothers me about time travel and beings coming back from the future to our present time would suggest to them we have already lived and died, but to us they have not yet lived. I have a very hard time with this and I have always believed if one could travel back to the past, he would only see shadows of what was not living creatures, because they would have already spent their lives. It would take some incredible evidence to convince me otherwise, but nobody has ever accused me of not having an open mind. The scientist claims it is more likely time traveling humans have come to the earth’s past, then aliens from another area in our universe have come here. I don’t see his rationale. We know the universe is full of trillions and trillions of planets and therefore there is a very good chance life other than ours exists and also a very good chance life more advanced than ours also exists. This life doesn’t necessarily have to be older than ours to be more advanced. I know cultural age has been cited to equal advancement in technology, but even this may not be true. Take the case of the Neanderthal who was said to have been on this earth for over 500,000 years. Did they construct machines of any type? There is absolutely no evidence to prove this ever happened, yet a much younger race according to scientists, which is the human race, has made it out into space. This certainly proves the age of a race does not always mean it is more advanced and I’m sure this would hold true throughout the entire universe. Of course, in some cases it will be true.
Other proof time travel could exist deals with the fact objects in space are said to be able to bend space and time. If a race could take advantage of the fact time is being bent, they might be able to do some sort of time travel. Then there are all the stories of people who claim to have been involuntarily transported into the past while just walking around. Some of these people actually disappeared in front of others. Of course, these others only knew the people disappeared, but didn’t know the rest of the story. Books have been written on this subject. Two women in 1901 claim they were taking a tour of Versailles. As they walked around the grounds, they suddenly noticed people were dressed different and probably thought they were in some sort of reenactment, but they claim it was not a reenactment but they had somehow gone into the past and this was reaffirmed when they met Marie Antoinette. The two ladies retraced their steps and were brought back to the present time. For the rest of their lives they claim the story was true and wrote a book about it.
One of my favorite stories concerns a man who was walking across a field. Members of his family including his wife, were on the porch watching him, when suddenly he disappeared before their eyes. Seventy-four years later the man turned up in Times Square in 1950. He hadn’t aged a day. Immediately critics claim this story was false, a lot of people believe it. It is said he was hit and killed by a taxi and at the time of his death was wearing antique clothes and had money that was from seventy-four years or earlier in his pockets. Even though the coins in his pocket were old some of them are in mint condition. It is claimed these were not the only things he was carrying and he had a bill from a stable and a letter postmarked 1876 along with cards with the name Rudolph Fentz and a New York City address on fifth Avenue. When his clothes were examined nobody had ever heard of the Taylor who had labels inside of them. Further investigation found out a man named Rudolph Fentz went out for a walk in the 1870s and never returned. A missing person report had been filed at the time of his disappearance.
Most scientists agree it would be much easier to go into the future than go back into the past. Getting to the future could be as simple, and I use this word relatively, as traveling at a high enough speed, but it would be a one-way trip as far as we know. It has been proven many times over, the faster we go the slower time moves for us but speeds up outside of our container. Container being the device we are inside of. This is the problem with traveling in rockets or other spacecraft which go very fast. If we went fast enough, the time inside our vehicle might only be a couple of weeks to reach our destination, yet back on earth it could be many years and all the people we left when we started our trip could have died of old age. There wouldn’t be much sense in going back, because we wouldn’t recognize anyone and maybe not even recognize the earth itself.
Some scientists believe wormholes exist and they could be used for time travel. A theory was proposed in 1988 by scientists who think if we accelerated in one it would become a time machine into the future. Of course, as of the writing of this article no one has seen a wormhole yet, but it is still believed they do exist.
One last problem we have with time travel is if it could be made both ways would the past be altered by something a time traveler does which might change the future? Many believe the answer is yes.
