News 14 January 2022 There are so many things I would like to talk about in this article, it is hard to figure out where to start. First of all, I would like to talk about the human remains which were found. No, this has nothing to do with the paranormal. The reason I am bringing this up is these remains are the oldest human ones ever found. Guess how old they are. If you said 230,000 years you would be correct. It is amazing they even survived this long. The remains were found in Eastern Africa. The gem of the find is the bones are Homo sapien like us. This pushes back, way back, the earliest known time period for Homo sapiens being on the planet and proves it could go back even further. I believe this is one of the greatest archaeological finds so far. These remains were in volcanic ash and the dating method was dating the ash above and below the bones. It is obvious this was not the first Homo Sapien ever born so we have to have been here even longer, it is just a question of how much longer. Scientists admit there could even be older human remains which have yet to be found. Do you feel there are too many cameras watching us? Are you tired of promises by politicians telling us they are for our own protection and the evidence will never be used in some cases like matrimonials against us? If you feel this way I have very bad new for you. Scientists have perfected tiny robot insect like drones which can video you and record what you say and it is being said they will release swarms of these objects and they will be watching us unseen for our own good. Scientists have even figured out how to make the tiniest radio wave antenna. It is a piece of DNA and weighs practically nothing. Yet despite the fact it is microscopic it is capable of sending and receiving radio waves. A breakthrough seems to have been made by scientists regarding Covid-19. Scientists experimenting with the common cold, which is a form of Covid have found immune cells from the common cold can attack Covid differently than the current vaccines. The scientists are saying a new study showing that immunity induced by colds can fight off more dangerous novel corona virus. The study was said to be from the Imperial College London and showed people exposed to SARS-CoV-2 or COVID-19 had only half of the participants test positive. This could be a good start. England is a fascinating place and one of the reasons is it has been around for thousands of years. This was illustrated lately when an entire Roman town was found below a Northamptonshire field. The town was a rich one. It was found to be a trading center and archaeologists have said the inhabitants wore jewelry and ate from fine pottery. It is amazing to me how towns like this just disappear from history and then sometimes get rediscovered when building is going on or some farmer is plowing his field. This site is near the rail network being constructed between London and Birmingham. Since 2018 over 100 archaeological sites along the route have been examined. It is amazing to me the James Webb space telescope is completely deployed. It may have had to go through the most complex unwrapping and deployment ever. Some have said this was more complicated than landing men on the moon. It is said it will take about 3 months from launch to reach its destination known as L2, a place in space which has equal gravity so it can stay stationary. Once the beast is in place and begins to be used, we should be able to see things we have never seen before. I for one can hardly wait. The next bit of information actually had me laughing. All I could think about was Monty Python’s Flying Circus. The bones of Medieval warhorses were found and measured by scientists and what they found out was the horses were much smaller in those days than thought. As a matter of fact, it was said they were about the size of ponies. Can you imagine a knight in full armor riding a pony sized horse? I thought people were also smaller at the time, but found they were bigger in the middle ages being on average 5 feet 8 inches for men than they were a few hundred years later when they averaged just under 5 feet 6 inches. So, these poor horses must have had their work cut out for them. Prince Andrew of Britain is really in the dog house now. The Queen has stripped him of all his titles including both military and royal titles. She did this because of the ruling in his sex case. Andrew will now have to proceed in the case as a civilian. It was said in the news the Duke of York’s military and Royal patronages have been returned to the Queen and a statement was put out by Buckingham Palace which said, “The Duke of York will continue not to undertake any public duties and is defending the case as a private citizen.” We just keep finding out some creatures are far smarter than we give them credit for. Fish have been doing some incredible things in experiments lately. The archerfish has shown it can differentiate between more or less. A paper has been published on the subject. The fish were taught to go after prey with a certain number of dots on them. After a while the archerfish were able to be taught to go after the prey with the most dots. They were somehow able to figure this out. In one of the most bizarre experiments I can think of, scientists have taught goldfish how to steer a tank on wheels and they were able to navigate through various rooms to find food. This story is so incredible I thought at first, I was having something put over on me, but it seems to be a true story. Even Snopes recognizes the story as true. I hope we don’t find goldfish driving on our roads. Just kidding. What many people may not know is while dinosaurs ruled the earth, the giant creatures in the oceans were not dinosaurs even though they were huge. They were aquatic reptiles like the ichthyosaurs. Recently the skull of an ichthyosaurs was discovered which was two meters long and is the oldest ichthyosaurs ever found. It is believed the ichthyosaurs evolved from air breathing, land dwelling, creatures.
