NASA Might Be Changing Soon
There has been much talk over the years about the United States and possibly other nations possessing homemade copies of UFOs, and it seems to be a possibility, that is why I have said if true, we are wasting our money on NASA. Now there is talk of incoming president Donald Trump considering an overhaul of NASA when he takes office. I can’t help but think if there was ever a person who would put a stop to NASA’s huge and expensive programs if he found out this was true, it would be president Trump. This would be a very dangerous thing to do however, and he would be taking quite a chance. Why do I say this? If it is true we have a UFO building program, it has been going on for probably near 70 years and involves some of the most powerful people in the world. I guess we will just have to wait and see how things shake out.
Speaking about NASA, some of their programs are being considered for cancelation or revamping by president Trump, according to what is being reported. I have often said NASA is very good at wasting money and we have to look no further than the Space Launch System and even the Orion spacecraft. While so far billions have been spent what we are seeing is a system and spacecraft which costs more than two billion a launch and which has many setbacks. I think just the money we would save on those expensive launches would make up for what was wasted on it so far. Seeing those astronauts still stranded on the space station because the spacecraft was considered too dangerous to take them back to earth says it all. It is said Starship by SpaceX, which is bigger, more powerful and far cheaper to launch could replace it. By the way it is estimated the SpaceX Starship costs about 100 million dollars to launch and Musk says he can bring that cost down. That is 1/20th the cost per launch of the Boeing rocket. Musk says he wants to reduce launch costs to 10 million dollars. Each time the Boeing rocket is launched we are losing huge amounts of money and it seems it will get even worse in the future as the launches get more expensive and the Starship launches get cheaper. Oh, some people will cry out if the Musk rocket replaces the current system and claim it is just patronage, ignoring the fact completely that it will be better and cheaper and save tons of money in the long run, but such is the nature of politics. Another thing to consider is the fact the Starship is a reusable craft and this will contribute to cost savings. Not only that, but the Starship can hold over twice as much cargo as Boeing’s Artemis craft and it is also faster. It has also been claimed Artemis is more complicated.
It is fascinating to note we will now launch two lunar landers at once to the moon. A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will bring the Firefly Blue Ghost lander and Ispace’s Resilience lander. Sending landers to the moon is starting to get commonplace. I believe relatively soon a trip to the moon will be able to be made in a shorter period of time. Someday it will become a day trip. Apollo 11 took 3 days to reach the moon.
One interesting note has to do with the International Space Station. There are some who believe we have made contact with extraterrestrials there, or at least seen their spacecraft passing by. They say that is the reason the cameras keep being shut down. They don’t believe there can be this many technical problems with the camera system. If this turns out to be true, it would be hard, if not impossible to hide the fact from the foreign crews who might be aboard. There are also those who claim a couple of the space shuttle mission either saw UFOs nearby, or even made contact. Could it turn out NASA has been making contact with extraterrestrials for dozens of years?
I have wondered about what NASA has found out over the years we were not told about? Could they have learned things about the universe they decided not to discuss with us. Maybe not everything kept secret has to do with UFOs or aliens. Would NASA ever tell us if we were facing destruction, or would those who believe they know what is best for us decide not to tell us, to protect us from the truth? One thing they don’t seem to talk about enough is detecting large meteors and asteroids approaching near the earth. Over the years, some have gotten relatively close and were not detected until they were on top of us. There seems to be a hole in the detection system which has survived for many years and it is time we fixed it if we can.
Another problem with NASA is some of the contracts they give out. There seem to be too many delays in some of the projects and not enough done. The same is true for cost overruns. It does seem however, that Boeing lost money on the Space Launch System, big amounts of money. I heard a rumor that this has really hurt the company’s bottom line. In 2023 an article came out stating Boeing had already lost 1.1 billion dollars. In 2024 it was said that figure inflated to 1.6 billion dollars. It will be interesting to see, if the project is cancelled, will the loss be even greater?
Not all projects at NASA are duds. One of their most recent successes has been the Webb telescope. It has opened much more of the universe to us. The launch into space and the unfurling of the scope was considered even harder to do than the Apollo 11 moon landing. There have been various other successes such as the International Space Station and getting many other countries to opt in. Let’s not forget the two Voyager space probes which are still heading toward their targets after all these years which have sent back data far longer than was expected. It is time to stop relying so much on legacy space companies for projects which present NASA with the same old problems which have come to many other agencies which contracted them. Look for NASA to become leaner and more successful soon.
