Time Travel or Not?
I am not a believer in ever being able to travel into the past. I mention this because this was the primary reason I find it hard to believe everything about the Rendlesham Forest UFO landing which took place at a U.S. Air Force Base in Rendlesham, England. This does not mean I do not believe the sighting was true, too many of the military validated it. I do not believe maybe the supposed message stating it came from future earth. What could have been the reason for this message and what did it say. First of all, it had numbers, which some believe were coordinates. It also was said to have stated the origin year was 8100. If this was an actual message, we may have found out why some in the pentagon thought demons were involved, because it was said the message had the sentence, Exploration of Humanity 666 8100. 666 being said to indicate the devil and 8100 listed further down as the Origin Year. It is said this message appeared when the UFO was touched.
If this message was true, some think the messaged was flashed to the airman from a quantum computer system. They also think it might be possible for a system to exist that can operate through time, sort of a time internet. If there is such a system, it might even be more powerful than a quantum system and we just have not discovered it yet. The human brain can be fooled and if Penniston who touch the ship and supposedly received the message is truthful, it could have been tricked into believing this.
Another thing which might have occurred is the date of 8100 could be the date used on a different planet and civilization and if this is true, it might make more sense. There is also the possibility fraud is involved. Could someone or some countries have constructed a phony ship to fool us for some unknown reason and set it up with a fake message? This is always a possibility.
Lately, there has been the idea extraterrestrials are not extraterrestrial at all, but they are future humans. There are two views about the way they look. The first states they no longer look like us because they have evolved. The second states they either still look like us, or can make us think they do. Needless to say, not everyone who are interested in UFOs and extraterrestrials agrees with the idea they are from our future. Some believe they are from other dimensions, while others think they are from other planets, with a few believing there are also extraterrestrials who can live in space without a planet and comprised of some sort of plasma.
If we believe there are time travelling humans, then it follows there are probably time traveling aliens. This means we might be surrounded by time travelers. As I said I really don’t believe in travel into the past. Why would I say that? I have always had the theory if we could travel into the past and I am wrong, we would only see shadows of what once was. I just don’t believe if we could manipulate time, we could never change what once was, not even down to the smallest degree. But I do keep an open mind and if proof surfaced showing I was wrong, I would accept it.
So far, the alleged proof has been ridiculous. I have seen several photos from the past attempting to prove certain people show objects which were from the future culminating in the most ridiculous of all involving the old movie, Fort Apache. There is a scene with Henry Fonda is riding in a stage coach where some say he is using a smart phone. The film was released in 1948. Just the idea Fonda was a time traveler and went on film using a smart phone and nobody noticed at the time is just a fool’s errand.
One of the problems with time travel is all the stories seem to be anecdotal. Take old photographic evidence for example. Just because someone in a crowd seems to be doing something that looks like they are using an advanced object doesn’t mean they are. For example, a pocket diary held up close to the face might seem to be a smart phone and there seems to be no shortage of people who are ready to call it that. But other things have stories attached to them which supposedly make them out of time. Out of time objects are those found in places which are ancient, but the objects are far too advanced to be there. An example of this is a ring with a watch on it, which was said to be found in a sealed tomb.
When out of place objects are found by archaeologists in sealed tombs, they are harder to explain. One in particular, which people base time travel on, occurred in China. In 2008 a sealed tomb was opened in China. It was from the Ming Dynasty. It is said a film crew was also there. It was said the tomb was sealed some 400 years before and as it was opened and the archaeologists got to the coffin and were brushing the dirt off, a clump of dirt hit the floor and a metal ring fell out. It was picked up and was a tiny watch on the ring. On the back of the watch was the word Swiss. There was no Switzerland until about the middle of the 19th century or 1848 to be exact. So, if this was not time travel how can this be? Maybe someone got into the tomb previously and the watch design suggests a woman. If that speculation was true how come the tomb looked undisturbed? I cannot answer that question.
To me the most famous out of time object has to be the Antikythera mechanism. It was found in the ocean in a wreck of an ancient Roman ship. The ship has been dated as coming from the first century B.C. It is important to note the object contained perfectly cut metal gears and is a sort of mechanical computer and shows the different positions of planets, the sun, and the moon and its phases, and even corrects for the moon’s movement as it travels across the sky. The device even gave additional information, such as months which would have a solar eclipse, and when the Olympic games were due. The next time metal gears were found was about 1,000 years later. How can this be, and who created this masterpiece and was he or she a time traveler? The ancient Greeks were found to be incredible inventors and it is thought one of them developed this device, and no time travel was involved.
